Format
- Teams: 2-man team
- Holes: 18 holes
- Scoring: Team score on each hole is the best net score of the two players.
- Skins (Optional): Individual skins in two tee divisions: GOLD/BLUE and WHITE/RED.
Handicap Allowance
- Each player’s Event Handicap is 85% of their Men’s Club Course Handicap (see Appendix I).
- Allowances follow USGA recommendations for this format.
Team Selection
- Players must sign up with a partner.
Event Play
- Each player plays their own ball on every hole.
- Enter each player’s gross (actual) score hole-by-hole in the online scoring system/scorecard.
- For each hole, the scoring system will determine each player’s net score based on handicap strokes received on that hole.
- The team’s score for each hole is the best of the two net scores.
- The 18-hole team total is the sum of the team’s best-net score on all holes.
- Final results (order of finish) are based on the 18-hole team total.
Payouts & Skins Game
- Event Payouts: Places paid and Pro Shop credit amounts will be announced in advance based on the portion of the Men’s Club budget allocated for this event.
- Players on winning teams split the Pro Shop credit for that place equally. Credits are applied to each player’s account by The Falls staff after payouts are announced.
- Optional Individual Skins ($10): Skins are optional. There will be two separate skins pots—one per tee division (GOLD/BLUE and WHITE/RED).
- Skins payout amounts are based on: total skins pot ÷ number of skins won (per tee division).
- Skins Handicap (only): Players receive 80% of their Men’s Club handicap with ½-stroke pops for skins only.
- Cap: Skins pops are capped at a maximum of 18 strokes (i.e., no more than 1 or ½ per hole).
Weather Policy
Pro Shop Credits & CTP
- If at least 40% of players on the published tee sheet decide not to finish due to inclement weather, then no Pro Shop credits assigned to this event will be awarded.
- Those funds will be added to the yearly prize pool to be redistributed via future events.
- Players who choose to complete their round should continue entering scores, and those scores will count toward their Men’s Club Handicap Index.
Skins
- If you tee off and decide not to finish due to inclement weather, your skins buy-in remains in the pot.
- You are eligible for skins on holes you completed.
- Skins will not be refunded unless the course closes due to weather.
Birdie Board & Hole-In-One
- Hole-by-hole scores count for this event.
- Even if a player does not finish the round, completed-hole scores still count for Birdie Board and Hole-In-One.
Appendix I: Handicap Examples
Example 1

Event Handicaps: Player A = 6, Player B = 15
Example 2
Player A has a Men’s Club Course Handicap of 6 and Player B has a Men’s Club Course Handicap of 13.
Applying the 85% allowance:
- Player A: 6 × 0.85 = 5.1 → 5
- Player B: 13 × 0.85 = 11.05 → 11
Event Handicaps: Player A = 5, Player B = 11
